Good shoe fitting: You need medical grade shoes and a good pedorthist to fit them The shoe must fit your foot. Trace your foot and you will see that your foot will not fit into most dress shoes or high heels. Shoes are not usually covered buy insurance. I would hold off any foot surgery till you have tried all conservative measures.

Bunions and bumps on: toes will require proper shoes that have enough room in the toe box area. The brand of shoes is your personal preference and doesn't really matter. What you need is shoes that accommodates your deformities. You can also place small cushions on the toes and or around the bunion area that are non medicated for protection, whether they be foam or felt skin or gel type.
