Need to go back: The antibiotics may not be working and/or your infection may need to be drained. Hard to say without visualization. Feel better soon...

Infection: It may take 48 or more hours for antibiotic to take hold. Antibiotic will reduce spread of infection and swelling. You may also need analgesics. Definitive tooth treatment is necessary before the course of antibiotics is completed. Call your Dentist.
