Varies: It depends on when the tests are taken. If it's fasting, normal bs number is < 100. If it's right after you have eaten, we like it to be < 180. If's 2 hours after you have eaten, it should be < 140. If you are pregnant, then the goal is even lower than the numers above.

About 100 mg/dL: Blood gloucester is normally maintained near 100 mg/dl. It may be somewhat lower in the fasting state or after exercise and a little higher after meals.

70-100 fasting: After an overnight fast, 70-100, although some people will run as low as 60. Two hours after eating, up to 140 is normal.
