Testing for low blood sugar is difficult as the number will always be normal since the body releases adrenaline and instantly raises blood sugar to normal.

Diabetes: People with diabetes will have a high blood sugar unless the diabetes is under control. Low blood sugar can be an effect of too much Insulin or other blood sugar lowering medication taken.
