A member asked:

What should a normal glucose level be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can be anything: Fasting from a vein should be 100 or less. Two hours or more after a meal it should be less than 130-140. A glucose above 200 at any time suggests diabetes. It is common to have glucoses as low as the mid 60's and be totally normal if you're healthy. Get a post meal or fasting with a hga1c if you're really concerned. Don't trust finger stick values. Check w/diabetes. Org for more info.
