Mir. iud fell out, need another one. do i have to wait, can it be done asap. why would it come out? can i have another one?

Don't know why...: A Mirena (levonorgestrel) - like any IUD - can come out by itself without warning. This is why it's a good idea to check your IUD strings yourself so you know it's there! Likely, you will be able to get another one. They will do a pregnancy test first, of course. Be sure to use a back-up method in the meantime so you're protected. Good luck. LGromkoMD
