Skyla : Skyla is slightly smaller and is advertised to be better for women who have never been pregnant. Mirena (levonorgestrel) has been around longer and is generally well tolerated by those who have never had a baby. Skyla last 3 years. Mirena (levonorgestrel) 5 years
