Hard to say: It may be related to two things: 1) your habits that follow when you're out and about and drinking and 2) the direct effect of alcohol on your appetite. For many drinking often can replacing eating and that may lead to a compensatory hunger then next day. it also turns that there is data that demonstrates that alcohol can lead to an increase appetite.
