Could be.: If you have gnawing, cramps pain in your stomach area (just below your breastbone), you may indeed have stomach irritation (gastritis) or an early ulcer. These may be caused by too much acid secretion. Try an otc product such as Pepcid ac or zantac (ranitidine) ac and if your symptoms continue, see your doctor.
