A member asked:

Having total knee replacement .job requires in and out of truck 200 plus times and walk 6-8 miles delivering pkgs over 100 lbs. can i still do this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I don't think so: My concern is that such heavy work on the knee will shorten the useful life of the new knee. Was your work a factor in your needing to get a knee replacement in the first place? I recommend you discuss this with your orthopedic surgeon and physical therapist. Hope that helps.
