Check BP: Monitor your blood pressure and heart rate. It is possible that your blood pressure and heart rate are low. If you blood pressure is too low ( < 90/60) then you may want to hold or decrease lisinopril. If your heart rate is under 40 you should be evaluated immediately.

A 40-year-old member asked:

Is my childs coughing related to heart burn? He does not have any breathing problems

Possibly: Coughing is a symptom and not a condition, therefore there are many possible causes. Heart burn (also known as gastroesophageal reflux disease or gerd) is a possible cause, especially if there are no breathing problems. Other causes include upper respiratory infections, allergies and asthma. Mild asthma can present as a cough without respiratory distress.

My child have fever and difficulty in breathing while sleeping. Should I just use a nasal spray and decongestant.?

No: If your child is having fevers and difficulty breathing every night, and this is an ongoing thing, you need to see your pediatrician asap. If you are asking about a problem that's been going on for a couple of days, he probably has a mild viral illness. Give lots of liquids, a little tylenol (acetaminophen) for the fever, and if it persists, see your pediatrician.

Im 8 months pregnant and I get terrible pins and needles in my arms when I sleep. Is there anything I can do for relief?

A few months..: Unfortunately this is a common concern and usually is the result of additional swelling and fluid in a pregnant body. This causes many different nerve compressions, potentially, including carpal tunnel syndrome. Sometimes sleeping on an extra pillow will help....Take solice in the fact that most times it will resolve after delivery.
