What happens at a junior high well check for a student? how do you prepare the child?

11 year well check: At the doctors office, an 11 year old well visit begins usually with the nurse checking height, weight, vision and hearing. Then the doctor answer questions, and examine your child. In the US, 2 vaccines are generally given TDAP which is tetanus booster with pertussis and diptheria required for 6th grade. The second vaccine is for meningitis. There should also be a discussion about HPV vaccine.
