Check airway: Not outgrowable. May have airway problem from narrow upper jaw, blocked nasal passages, enlarged tonsils/adenoids, Marfan's syndrome, being tongue tied, etc. See dento-facial growth & development expert, a qualified Orthodontist (initial exam usually free) to start the evaluation process.

Exam: Children should be able to breathe through their nose. Mouth breathing can be caused by various problems. Tonsils and adenoids being at the top of the list with allergic rhinitis also a consideration. All the best.
