You may have : Sesamoiditis, or a sesamoid fracture....Should follow up with a podiatrist.

Possibilities: Depending on the exact location, it could be capsulits (inflamed joint), sesamoiditis, or a stress fracture of a metatarsal. If rest doesn't help, see a podiatrist for an examination and x-rays.M.
