If it is a simple: Sore = an antibiotic and a band-aid should do. Since, i can;t see the sore, I do not know if it is more involved or not. If you care to write back with more info that would be helpful.

Depends: It depends on the severity, size, depth, duration, etc of the sore. If it has not healed after a few days and especially if it looks infected, you should see your primary care doctor or a wound care specialist.
