The reason why I asked, I did break out with a rash, and I heard the chemical methyl Salicilate can be harmful even when absorbed in skin.
Last night I ate some foods which contain very high levels of salicylates. Since then my tinnitus is much worse. I have since read that salicylates can worsen tinnitus. My question is: will this worsening only be temporary or could it be permanent?
