A member asked:

Is pyconogel a salicylate same as aspirin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not equivalent: One website describes it as a mixture of stuff: Pycnogenol is another name for the extract of French maritime pine bark. Pycnogenol contains active ingredients that can also be found in peanut skin, grape seed, and witch hazel bark. That means one should not assume it is a pure medication, and should not assume that all the ingredients are known.
