Amla Fruit: Good question. The answer seems to be controversial. Indian gooseberry (Amla fruit). is reported by some sources to have 600 to 1800 mg of ascorbic acid per 100 grams. However, others contest this and state that studies for acorbic acid content were done a long time ago & were inaccurate.
