How can stress effect you emotionally?

Negative effect: Stress can affect you both physically and mentally. We have all had the experience of stress causing a stomach ache, headache, or tension in the back or neck. However, stress can also affect you emotionally, because it never feels good to be stressed out, whether by others or even by your own negative thoughts. Stress can often lead to increased anxiety or depression, both of which are not good.

Many ways: Stress can result in emotional moodiness; anxiety; irritability; frustration; poor concentration; lack of ability to focus; sadness; weepiness; overt depression; trouble making decisions; feeling overwhelmed or pressured; etc. Of course these are not the only effects of stress, as a wide variety of physical and behavioral effects can happen also.
