Stress & headaches: Stress can certainly lead to certain kinds of headaches, such as tension headaches and migraines. Mindfulness based stress reduction training has been shown to help a person work with his/her stress and in some cases, decrease number and intensity of headaches. There are also headaches that hurt no matter how relaxed you are -- like those resulting from a bleed in the brain.

Anemia: Reticulocytes are normal immature red blood cells. Their number in the blood stream becomes increased when the body senses that it does not have enough red blood cells (anemia), so the bone marrow tries to make more red blood cells. Normally reticulocytes reside in the bone marrow, but they escape into the blood. This can happen during anemia caused by hemolysis (red blood cell destruction).
