When're back to see the dr and am now being refered to an ent.. said my eardrum looks like it either had a hole or it's scaring.. should i be worried?

'ear Me: Don't Worry: Well, don't worry until you get the skivvy from the ENT guy. It depends on what your story is. The eardrum ("tympanic membrane") can bust for several reasons, from within or without, and then it can scar as it heals. Sometimes it scars so much you need to get it reamed-out before it turns into something worse. And your hearing should be checked too. ENT has a lot of ways to fix what you have.
