A member asked:

Can you tell me if i am likely to need dye for an mri and ct scan of my brain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It helps: Contrast (dye) often adds additional information that is useful. In the setting of acute trauma to the head contrast is often not given. When looking for clues to other neurological problems the contrast can be very beneficial.
