I had a ct scan and mri of my brain at the er room and was told that everything was normal on the same day can the doctor just be telling me that because i was nervous ive read that mri take long to come back im scared they didnt tell me the truth?

ER- special Doctors: ER doctors are trained to read the MRI/CT results themselves so that they can treat their patients immediately. They do not need to wait for a final Radiologist reading which can take several days. If your ER Dr told you that there was nothing on the scans, then you can feel secure that this evaluation was true.
