How long does it take for the results of a blood test (for hormone and vitamin levels) to come back?

Depends: Which hormone and which vitamin? Most labs routinely test thyroid hormones, B12 and folate (folic acid) daily and the result are available in a few hours. Some hormone and vitamin tests are at specialized labs and may take a week to get the results back.
