Yes, many conditions: Low cholesterol can be a sign of serious problems, in fact i consider low chol. To be more serious than high chol. Some cases are hereditary, but if previously normal chol. Becomes low it can be a sign of hyperthyroidism, liver disease, malnutrition, cancer, chronic infections or inflammation. It should be evaluated by a doctor who takes it seriously, not one who says "it's nothing to worry about.".
