No it will not: Low cholesterol has no relation to menopausal symptoms. During the menopause estrogen levels change and this can impact the lipid panel. Menopausal symptoms in particular vasomotor symptoms bear no relationship to lipids, and should be addressed as needed. In addition, hormone therapy should not be used to treat lipids or for cardiovascular risk reduction.
