A member asked:

How long does it take a sinus infection to clear up? i am taking amoxicillin 500 mg for it.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sinus infection: Simple cases could clear in a week but bad cases can take two months of antibiotics to clear. If not better in a week or so a CT of the sinuses can be helpful both to confirm the diagnosis and to help determine the severity and potential need for surgical intervention.
