Recheck with DR: Perhaps this is now viral in nature, and further antibiotics will not help. The only way to determine this is to have an exam. See your DR.

Had strep, was on the Z-Pak. Symptoms improved but throat was still sore and the ear bothered me. Now on clindamycin for 10 days for an ear infection. Ear feels less sore/full but throat on the right side is sore. Could this be drainage from the ear?
