Depends: Did the entire tooth come out or just the part above the gumline? Advise a dental visit to confirm as retained broken roots will cause a future problem

See a dentist: First off I am sorry to hear that you broke a molar and are having concern. While human teeth are very strong, under certain conditions they can break, chip, or fracture, leaving you in pain or discomfort. Take an NSAID OTC or Tylenol (acetaminophen) to help with any pain, if necessary. Broken molars can be repaired in many different ways by a dentist, depending on the kind of the damage.
