POSSIBLY: Tamiflu (oseltamivir) is not an antibiotic, it suppresses flu germ reproduction but does not kill them. To be helpful it should be given to exposed individuals or within 48 hrs of first symptoms.Any later and the flu is too well established for it to matter. Some benefit greatly from this med, but about a 3rd see no effect. There are some significant side effects for some. Curious as to why the delay.
