Depends on lung issu: There are two main types of chemical stress tests: Adenosine and persantine. Adenosine can/and does induce asthma attacks in many asthmatics so make sure the cardiologist knows about your asthma. It can be reversed but they don't like affecting the lungs when posible. Generally what they do is make your heart beat faster and pump harder. So you feel a little jumpy but rarely and specific pain.
