Probably normal: it is not unusual for a healthy twenty something to have a resting heart rate in the 50s. Assuming you have no symptoms this is likely normal for you. The breast feeding is unrelated to your heart rate. Though it is not my specialty, should you be on only 1500 cals per day while breast feeding? You may want to check with your obstetrician.
