At 2 weeks post op craniotomy r side facial weakness started surgeon said post op inflammation of 7th cranial nerve not bell palsy. how can they tell?

7th nerve: Bells Palsy is usually caused by a virus. Since you just had a craniotomy and your nerve was originally working most likely it is a temporary scenario caused by acute swelling surrounding the nerve.
