Good question. Are: you eating or drinking during the night? Are you sweating during the day? You may be retaining more water at night than during the day (not the usual) despite usual more intake of fluids & foods (most majority water) during the day. Perhaps evacuating before PM but not AM weight? Your scale may not be consistent (see if you can change the reading by standing on it in a variety of different ways).
