EVENT MONITOR : Event monitor is better to make the diagnosis . You also need a full lab workup /ECHO/THALIUM SCAN. If it can not be documented, you need to see a Cardiologist with EPS specialty to perform an EPS to document the type of arrhythmia. Ventricular Tachycardia is a much faster rhythm and the QRS COMPLEX is wider and more distorted. The Rythm is too fast to support your BP and will cause syncope

Loop monitor: ventricular tachycardia looks different from sinus tachycardia. It is not usual to confuse them. A loop monitor can demonstrate either or both rhythms if they occur while the monitor is in place and working
