My ekg says, normal sinus rhythm with ventricular run. is a ventricular run the same thing as ventricular tachycardia?

No: Most likely the reader of the EKG is referring to a "run" of Premature Ventricular Contractions, but without looking at the EKG is impossible to tell. Any time you have MORE than 3 PVCs in succession it is by definition Ventricular Tachycardia, so perhaps you had 3 PVCs, which would count as a run. If you would like to know more about your EKG reading, I would ask your Dr to explain it to you.
