Thickened lining: Some people have an increase in their uterine lining when not shedding (your period) this lining or endometrium tissue. When you do start periods again it can have a foul odor. You should get a gyn. exam to make certain that this is all it is. Perhaps you can move up the apt. for taking out the IUD.
