Confirm IUD in place: Within the first 6 months, ~95% of Mirena (levonorgestrel) users will note a decrease in their duration and/or amount of menstrual blood flow, and many will even stop getting their period (which is normal), however, some women may continue to have irregular periods like yours. Since your periods are lasting two weeks, see your dr to check that iud strings are visible ; same length. If not they may order an u/s.
