Hyperthyroidism: Hyperthyroidism is not associated with menopause. Most common causes of hyperthyroid is Graves disease, toxic nodular goiter and thyroiditis. Common symptoms include heat intolerance, palpitations, nervousness, tremor, diarrhea, irritability. It can be treated, but you may need to see an endocrinologist.
