Overactive thyroid: Can cause a variety of problems that are about 2 pages long. Excess circulating thyroid hormone may cause rapid pulse, increasing sweating, diarrhea (rapid transit of food), anxiety or panic attacks, weight loss (or gain); the thyroid plays a hormonal, regulatory role in almost all the organs of the body, including the uterus and uterine function, including cause of miscarriage.
