Stains: If it has been a long time since you have had a professional cleaning , there may be only so much you can do for yourself to improve their appearance. Also if you have fillings or cavities, over the counter whitening products will be limited in effectiveness. Id suggest make an appointment with your dentist. If you don't have one, sounds like a great time to establish a relationship with one

See dentist: When was your last professional cleaning? What type of whitening did you attempt? Over the counter whiteing does not have the same percentage of peroxide as in office, dentist supervised whitening procedure. Do you have alot of dark beverages, such as coffee, espresso, tea, red wine, which all can lead to staining. See your dentist and they will try to help you find the correct solution.

See your dentist: A dental cleaning at least twice a year can improve your oral health and remove "yucky and yellow" stains. Ask your dentist about teeth whitening.
