BV? Trich? STD?: The most common cause of vaginal odor with discharge is bacterial vaginosis, overgrowth of mostly normal bacteria. Trichomonas, an STD, also can do it. Both BV and trich are more common in women with other STDs, such as gonorrhea or chlamydia -- and these can cause yellow discharge. See your doctor ASAP for professional evaluation and testing for STDs. No sex in the meantime. Good luck!
