Who?: What is the amoxicilin for? Some minor infections appropriately treated in the outpatient setting take 5-7 days or more to resolve. If there is overall improvement, then rest assured and continue medication as prescribed. Call the prescribing physician if the symptoms are overall worse and fevers increasing in frequency and intensity.
