What does it mean when your cervix is thick this was found in a vaginal ultrasound and now i had a pap done?

Thick Cervix-not bad: It's hard to say exactly what the Radiologist was trying to say about calling the cervix "thick". Usually we refer to the cervix in a similar fashion in labor for someone who will not likely deliver soon. If your pelvic exam and pap are normal, I wouldn't think a "thick" cervix would be a sign of something bad.
