If i have cvi below knee wouldn't 30-40 compression socks + elevation reduce some of the swelling? neither helps in the slightest.

Unclear: CVI is the venous insufficiency or cardiovascular insufficiency. Depends on the type of condition as to the treatment. If this is for venous insufficiency you should see a vascular surgeon who might be able to help you the most.
