Scar: When the skin is cut, a scar will form as it heals. This scar can case with time but it will never go away completely. Avoiding sun exposure will help prevent excessive pigment accumulation in the scar. Removing the scab was unnecessary.

Yes: All scrapes leave a scar, if more than the very top layer of cells got scraped off. Children need to be raised free-to-roam about their playgrounds... which means they will get many scrapes and many scars. Scars from cuts and scrapes do fade over time, but those that remain will always remind the world what a fun time childhood was.
