Cheeks/mouth tingle for 2 months. when i cry it gets worse. went to er, doc & neuro said it was anxiety and that a scan was not needed. scared?

Anxiety can cause: bilateral facial paresthesias, numbness & tingling, Lesions that affect sensory function at the level of a peripheral nerve, dorsal root ganglion, dorsal sensory nerve root, or the spinal cord are unilateral. Brain disorders/diseases have other signs & symptoms. See your doctor for an evaluation & referrals to a psychiatrist & psychologist for medical & therapeutic management of anxiety.
