Proper Technique: First gently blow your nose to clear it of mucus before using the medicine. Tilt your head forward slightly. Put the spray tip into nostril and aim slightly out (away from septum). Use the finger of your other hand to close off your other nostril. Spraying toward the septum or straight up can cause the medication to be swallowed. Online technique videos on Flonase website helpful.
