Not usual to feel: In most patients, the liver should not be palpable, i.e. able to be felt, since it lays under the rib cage. If you are feeling something protruding under the rib cage, this is not normal. Since you have a giant hemangioma, this is likely what you are feeling. You should see a liver surgical specialist to determine whether this requires treatment or not.
