Groin pain: Not normal to have persistent pain and fluid on an MRI. Best to follow up with an orthopedic surgeon to best determine how best to treat your problem. Hope this helps

Yes: First, get another clinical evaluation, as persistent joint pain after THR is not normal. MRI after this surgery shows limited findings due to artifacts and image distortion. An MRI or CT study with and without arthrography may help determine the cause of pain. Sometimes CT is better than MRI, and the arthrogram study can help determine if the problem is in or or outside the joint.
